Ultra Limited Release - Only 20  Pieces Total!

To help the Inside the Desert Oasis Room podcast through these challenging times, these mugs have been reissued as part of an ultra limited release after having been retired in 2017 when the initial 150 piece run sold out. They were glazed and fired using the extra blank bisque mugs left over from the original 2017 production run. This edition is the last of the last as the production molds are long gone with the last remaining mold now broken (as pictured).

Milan Guanko  Tiki Mug Trio

Our first tiki mug set is a 3-piece trio inspired by the vintage tiki carvings of legendary Filipino carver, Milan Guanko. Milan Guanko carved tikis for many mid-century tiki temples including Sam's Seafood, Kon-Tiki, Kapu Kai and much, much more. The (now defunct) tikis this mug trio is inspired by once stood proudly for many decades at the Hobby City entertainment complex in Anaheim, California (pictured in situ below).

Each mug was hand crafted by prolific artist and carver, Tiki Diablo and were done separately in partnerships with our 3 largest podcast sponsors Tanduay Rum, Royal Hawaiian and Steadfast Pomade to create a complete set when combined as a trio! We have made available the last remaining matching numbered sets of this iconic mug below!
